A VICAR suffered a broken jaw when he was attacked by a yob on the way to his Clacton church.
The Rev Guy Thorburn, vicar of St John's with St Mark's Great Clacton, was walking in St John's Road on Saturday at about 8.45pm when he was attacked.
He was taken to Colchester General Hospital.
The attacker is described as white, 17 or 18, with fair, curly hair, about 5ft 9ins, slim and dressed in a light-coloured top.
He rode off on a bike.
