CELEBRITIES and footballers gathered for a penalty shoot-out to raise awareness of testicular cancer.

Survivor and awareness campaigner Darren Couchman, of Barrington Close, Little Clacton, joined big name footballers and celebrities for a five-a-side match to raise awareness of testicular cancer.

He persuaded them to take part in a shoot-out using giant testicles he had designed to get men thinking about their risk levels.

Ex-premier league footballer Jason Cundy, rugby player Martin Offiah, Gladiator “Hunter” James Crossley, and boyband singer Anthony Costa were among those who took part in the match at Wimbledon Goals pitch, in London.

The match was a part of the Keep your Eye on the Ball campaign, which is a project run by Everyman male cancer charity, the FA and the PFA.

It was organised by Jason Cundy, who is also a survivor of testicular cancer.
