AN INTERNET cafe and shop which has only just recovered from its last burglary has been struck again, in what staff called “a kick in the teeth”.

C-Drive in Weavers Court, Halstead, has had its glass door and window smashed during a midnight raid on Thursday night, and about £600 equipment taken.

The damage was between £1,000 and £1,500.

David Knox, shop manager, said: “They’ve kicked our door in. There is CCTV footage but not of their faces. This is going beyond the joke.”

The shop opened mid December 2008, and was burgled four days later to the tune of thousands of pounds.
