North Essex: Couple to wed on Christmas day
A COUPLE will embrace the true yuletide spirit by getting married as a part of a Christmas Day church service.
Peter Jeary, 53, and Jane Englefield, 42, will be married in a five-minute section of the December 25 morning service at St Mary’s Church in Great Bentley.
Miss Englefield said of their unusual wedding: “It is very special.
“Christmas is our favourite time of year – everyone is in the mood and the idea of going to a church at Christmas is still important to most people.”
