A MOTHER-OF-FIVE is in “a whirl” after winning £5,000-worth of furniture in a Gazette competition.
Patricia Keitch, of Henley Court, Colchester, snapped up a dining table with chairs and occasional furniture after entering the October promotion.
The Gazette teamed up with furniture company Old Charm and Colchester department store Williams & Griffin to offer this amazing prize.
The 62-year-old grandmother-of-ten, who has just redecorated her home, said: “It’s lovely. I have got five children, and when they come round for dinner we can all sit around the table comfortably.”
Her 22-year-old daughter Claudia, of Jacqueline Court, Colchester, who is a student at Chelmsford’s Anglia Ruskin University, said: “It’s something nice for her. She definitely deserves a treat.”
