The prospect of a new power station for Bradwell will be discussed at a series of public meetings next month.
British Energy owns land to the east of the Magnox station, which it is assessing for potential new nuclear development.
But it is also considering building at three other sites – Sizewell in Suffolk, Dungeness in Kent and Hinkley Point in Somerset.
The seven planned meetings will give people updates on the company’s plans and include a presentation from environmental consulting firm Royal Haskoning, which is carrying out impact assessments for British Energy’s potential new build projects.
