Beach huts have been destroyed in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters battled through the early hours of yesterday to prevent the blaze spreading to other beach huts.
Seven huts were totally destroyed, with neighbouring huts burnt by up to fifty per cent.
The fire comes just weeks after three people were given custodial sentences for an arson attack last year when £90,000 of damage was caused.
They were jailed for a total of four and a half years.
Two crews from Frinton and one from Clacton attended the fire at 1.15am yesterday at The Esplanade, Frinton.
A joint police and fire investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the blaze.
