FASHION-conscious youths wondering whether black is the new purple need not change their wardrobe.
Problems in supplying the distinctive purple blazers at Colchester Royal Grammar School has seen the new year seven intake having to don black jackets.
School uniform firm Ernest Newson is experiencing problems receiving the blazers from their supplier.
Problems in finding the correct dye has caused further delays, but it is hoped that new stock will be available within days.
