A SCHOOL playground could be about to get a new lease of life if a planning bid is approved.
Roach Vale Primary School in Colchester has applied for planning permission to redevelop and expand its playground.
Property consultants have designed the blueprints on behalf of the school off Parsons Heath.
Headteacher Sophie Denayer hopes the school will benefit from a resurfaced playground with additional space, new line markings, fixed play equipment, replacement canopies, and a replacement shed structure.
Colchester Council has the final say.
