FOUR cyclists are raising money in memory of an "inspirational" colleague.
Dan Roberts, who lived in Colchester and worked as a software engineer at Gigawave, Earls Colne, died of a brain tumour in January, aged 31.
His colleagues from the company, which designs and manufactures cameras and transmitters, plan to set off today for a 240-mile cycle ride in aid of the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, a charity chosen by Mr Roberts' parents, Chris and Sheila.
Gigawave colleagues Steve Rogers, 45, of Wickham Bishops, Chris York, 39, of Tiptree, Clive Hilzbrich, 54, of Springfields, Braintree, and Jay Wells, 33, of Sussex Road, Colchester, will cycle from Earls Colne to Kings Lynn and back in two days.
