A TRAVELLERS' site will be monitored by enforcement officers until a planning application has been received.
Three caravans moved on to land in Gutteridge Hall Lane, Weeley, over the weekend.
Enforcement officers from Tendring Council have met the extended family of 14.
A spokesman for the authority said:""The officers were advised that the family wished to obtain planning permission for use of the field for stationing their caravans.
enforcement "In the absence of any planning permission, the council would initiate enforcement action to cease the occupation of the land.
"The site continues to be monitored."
