PLANS to redevelop a former call centre have been unanimously approved by councillors.
Jackson House, in Jackson Road, Clacton, has been empty since December, when the last of the 400 Woolwich workers were made redundant.
Now, an £11 million scheme will see the site transformed into a 57-bed Travelodge hotel, along with 28 flats, four houses and 800 sq m of shops and offices.
