A COLCHESTER United player was caught drink -driving the night before the club's last game of the season.
Jamie Guy was driving at night without headlights and was not wearing a seatbelt, Colchester Magistrates' Court heard.
The 20-year-old striker, of Mill Street, Colchester, who represented himself, admitted a charge of drink-driving.
No pleas were entered on charges of no insurance and driving without a licence, and the case was adjourned to July 3.
