MORE than 100 villagers are fighting proposals to build a 63-bedroom nursing home in their village.
Developers have submitted plans to turn the former Ramsey County Primary School, in Wix Road, Ramsey, into the home which would include a restaurant, part-time doctors surgery, 27 parking spaces and vehicle access.
Now The Ramsey Action Group, made up of villagers, has reformed to oppose the plans.
Action group member Mary Anne Bishop, of The Street, Ramsey, said: "A new business would mean extra traffic."
