THE trial of a 21-year-old Colchester man accused of sexual assault following two incidents in the town has been adjourned until September.
Jolomi Nanna, of Lethe Grove, Colchester, who faces charges relating to seven women, was due to take place next month but was adjourned at Ipswich Crown Court due to delays in obtaining psychiatric reports on him.
At an earlier hearing, he denied four offences of stalking, three of sexual assault, one of outraging public decency, one of common assault and a single charge of exposure.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in Middlewick Close, Colchester, and the Corporal Budd VC Gym, in Berechurch Road, Colchester, in February last year.
At a case management hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday, Judge Emma Peters adjourned Nanna’s trial, which is expected to last five days, until September 25.
She directed that a further hearing should take place on September 6.
