A WOMAN has escaped a jail sentence for bigamy with her childhood sweetheart, after getting back in touch with him via website Friends Reunited.
Sally Bailey got married to another man at a Clacton hotel while she was still married to her second husband.
A court heard how suspicious register office staff called in police when 48-year-old Bailey went through a marriage service with Glen Bickers, also 48.
Recorder Philip Brook Smith gave her a nine- month supervision order and told her to pay £500 costs.
Bailey declined to comment after the hearing.
