COLCHESTER "won't know what has hit it" when Chinese treasures go on show.

Culture chiefs reckon an army of tourists will march on the town to see ancient model warriors displayed next month.

The pint-sized Guardians to the King are just a fraction of the size of the world-famous terracotta warriors exhibited in London last year.

With hundreds of thousands of people having queued to see the large versions - prompting British Museum bosses to consider opening around the clock - staff at Colchester Castle are expecting a major influx of visitors from around the country.
