A spring fair is set to raise funds to rebuild a primary school in Sri Lanka and allow pupils at a Colchester school have swimming lessons all year round.
An inflatable bungee jump, stalls, barbecue, and raffle with prizes donated by local businesses will be on offer at the fair, at Colchester County High School, in Norman Way, on Sunday from 11am until 2pm.
Money will be equally split between a fund to rebuild a primary school in Sri Lanka, destroyed by the tsunami, and for walls and a roof to go round the school's currently outdoor swimming pool, so pupils do not have to swim in the cold.
