Lifeboat crews were called to assist a boat that ran aground off the Harwich coast.
Both the Harwich inshore and offshore lifeboats attended to the Sargasso, stuck at the river Deben, five miles east of Harwich.
The boat had one person onboard. It was towed clear of the sand bank and able to proceed into Harwich harbour unaided.
