A DISUSED church is to throw open its doors to tell the story of Easter through art.
People are invited to walk the Way of the Cross at St Leonard's Church, Hythe Hill, Colchester, with 14 stations using art, words, scripture and symbols to tell the story.
The 14th century church closed its doors for regular public worship 20 years ago, and the event has been organised by St Stephen's, in Canterbury Road, the parish church for New Town and Hythe.
St Leonard's will be open between 10am and noon, and 5pm and 7pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 5pm and 7pm next Wednesday.
A service will be held on Friday, at 2pm.
