Commuters and revellers heading up to London between Christmas and new year are being reminded that Liverpool Street Station is not open to trains over the festive period.
Major engineering work means no trains will be heading into the station from Sunday until New Year's Day, with services resuming on Wednesday, January 2.
Network Rail is carrying out major engineering work between Liverpool Street and Stratford between those times, and it decided to take the opportunity to undertake a number of major works on the Liverpool Street approaches, as well as projects affecting Stratford and Shenfield.
Passengers will have to use buses and the tube instead.
There will be no services at all on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
