A school has been forced to close after suffering a power cut.
A caretaker at Heathlands School, on New Church Road, West Bergholt, reported the fault at 7am.
Supplier EDF Energy has been unable to tell the school when an engineer will be sent out.
Head teacher John Watts said: "I've had to take the decision to close the school because we've got no power.
"Fortunately our caretaker was here and realised there was a problem so we could report it early.
"It's very frustrating because we don't know when the power will be coming back on."
