A motorcyclist injured in a crash in Clacton has died in hospital.
David Riesebeck, of Volwycke Avenue, Maldon, was in collision with a lamppost in Jaywick Lane on Friday at 12.05am.
The 28-year-old was riding a blue Kawazaki ZX 900cc.
He was taken to Colchester General Hospital and transferred to Royal London Hospital where he died on Sunday.
Traffic police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw the vehicle in the area late on Thursday.
