THE organisers of a gin festival have cancelled their weekend event... again.
Ginlicious was ready to host a drinks fest at the Town Hall in Colchester High Street on May 25 and 26, but an announcement on their Facebook page said they had to pull the plug.
We called the company who said a new date was arranged for June 9, and it will be held at Firstsite instead.
However a further update on their Facebook page says the event rescheduled for this weekend has also been cancelled.
Those who have bought tickets said the company has been uncontactable since.
Their last post from Monday said: "Tickets are being processed by Ticket Source for refunds, Groupon has also been notified and refunds will be issued through them.
"Unfortunately due to the lack of people transferring their tickets to June 9 we will not be going ahead at Firstsite, so tickets will be refunded.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience."
The reason why they pulled the plug in the first place is unclear, however they said it was due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
