Bodybuilder Debbie Francis is seeking to swap her competition tiara for a crown at next month's UK finals in Edinburgh.
The 41-year-old divorcee started weight-training only in March last year, but is already making her mark at British Natural Body Building Federation events.
Within six months, she came second in the Miss Figure class finals, a position she hopes to improve on September 30.
If successful, she could be off to Los Angeles for the BNBF world competition in November.
Debbie, who lives in The Street, Pebmarsh, credits her partner, Witham personal trainer Tim Sharp, with starting her on the road to a totally new lifestyle.
