Murder squad detectives today launched a fresh appeal after the death of Helen Maughan as friends paid a moving tribute to the tragic 24-year-old.
Helen's partially-clothed body was discovered in the River Colne near Colchester town centre in May.
Police say they are investigating a number of fresh leads after the death was featured on the BBC's Crimewatch three weeks ago.
But some unanswered questions remain, including the riddle of what happened to Helen's mobile phone - a silver Samsung E250 - which is still missing.
Det Supt Tim Wills said: "We still need answers to what happened to Helen that night, and I appeal to anyone who has not yet spoken to us and may have useful information, to contact police as soon as possible."
Anyone with information should contact the major investigation team on 01279 641188 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
- A 36-year-old man from Colchester is currently on police bail in connection with Helen's death.
