The second man who died after jumping off Clacton Pier has been named as Kelvin Rothwell.
Mr Rothwell, 44, lived in Humber Avenue, Jaywick.
He died on Thursday, July 12, five days after he was injured after jumping into the sea from Clacton Pier.
An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
Clacton resident John Castleman also died after the stunt, in which a group of eight friends jumped from the pier after drinking on the beach.
