Job Title: Trainee Reporter
Location/Hours: Basildon 7- 5/fortnight
Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic and looking to become a great local news reporter? If so you could be the person we are looking for. The Echo, the daily paper for south Essex, has a position for a trainee reporter who has recently completed their NCTJ training. The successful applicant will have a keen, inquiring mind with an interest in people and local issues. Enthusiasm for on-line journalism would be an advantage.
The post holder will be based in the Echo's Basildon newsroom covering a range of assignments from hard-hitting crime, compelling human interest, community stories and politics.
