Gemma Collins will be turning on Freeport Christmas lights instead of Stacey Solomon
Stacey Solomon will no longer be switching the Christmas lights on at Freeport Braintree this year.
She will be replaced by The Only Way is Essex star, Gemma Collins, after pulling out due to personal reasons.
The event starts from 4pm where you can enjoy free arts, crafts and face painting, real Reindeer, a giant Santa chair and performances from Colchester Brass Band.
Heart Essex breakfast presenters Martin and Su will take to the stage at 6pm, with the switch on at 7.30pm on November 16 by Gemma Collins.
Once the lights are switched on there will be an extra hour of Christmas shopping until 9pm, with exclusive offers available in a range of stores.
