A WOMAN is warning others of a dog which has now attacked her puppy twice.
Lena Omorczyk, from Colchester, was walking her nine-month-old presa canario, Osiris, in Friday Woods when he was bitten by a large white dog.
Both dogs were off the lead and met in the middle of the woods when the dog, believed to be a malamute or husky, attacked Osiris.
He was left with a puncture wound and it is not the first time he has been attacked by the dog.
Lena said: “He is the most friendly pup I know.
He loves other dogs as well as people.
“The owner didn’t really rush himself to take his dog away or even apologise after the incident.
“After separating them I saw the hole in my puppy’s side and returned to the spot where it happened to ask the man for his details, but he had already walked off.
“That dog shouldn’t be off the lead at all. From there I found out that my puppy isn’t the only dog he attacked which is really upsetting.
“As a dog lover I don’t want anything to happen to the bigger dog, or any other dog, but he must be on the lead at all times.”
The incident has not been reported to police, but Lena would like other dog owners to be aware.
