Burglars steal safe and jewellery in raid on house
BURGLARS made off with a large safe and gold jewellery when they ransacked a home in Braintree.
Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Windsor Gardens.
It took place at some point between 3.30pm on April 21 and 8.45am on April 23.
A large black safe, a large amount of Chinese gold jewellery, and some other distinctive items of jewellery in red velvet boxes were taken.
Anyone who has any information about the incident or believes they have been offered any of these items is asked to contact Dc Red Leeson at Braintree police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
