A TEENAGER arrested after a serious crash which injured five people in Colchester has been charged.
The 17-year-old boy, from West Bergholt, has been charged with a number of driving offences, including driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance, driving other than in accordance with a licence, driving a vehicle without a valid MOT and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court in January.
His arrest came after a black Audi A3 and a black Fiat Punto collided in Northern Approach Road, in Colchester, shortly before 9pm on Tuesday, November 15.
