West Mersea sailor Saskia Clark has won gold in the Rio Olympics.
Clark and her partner Hannah Mills have won the title in the 470 class - going one better than their silver medal in the London 2012 games.
Clark - who started sailing at Dabchicks sailing club in West Mersea - and Mills are 20 points ahead in the series meaning they are guaranteed the gold before the final medal race as long as they are not disqualified.
