THERE is less than a month to go now until Colchester Carnival rolls into town.
On July 16, the carnival procession will take the theme of fairytales, myths and legends, and although the Castle Park part of the event has been scrapped this year, Colchester Round Table and Colchester Ladies Circle have worked hard to re-establish the summer spectacle since 2011.
We've taken a look back at Colchester Carnival throughout the 1990s, where themes ranged from the circus to children's film characters.
