Welly whangers at the ready!
Wix village fete takes place tomorrow, and welly whanging is just one of a whole host of activities lined up for fete goers.
Money raised at the event will go towards the village hall, St Mary's Church and the Methodist Church, with a donation made to the village school, Wix and Wrabness Primary.
Doors open at the village hall playing field venue at 1.45pm, with the fete officially opened by school headteacher Mark Carter-Tufnell, at 2pm.
Dance displays from pupils, a coconut shy, tombola, crockery smashing and other traditional activities are on the agenda.
The day will finish with bingo in the village hall at 8pm.
