ENERGETIC pupils can finally blast off at break times now their rocket-shaped tyre park has been installed.
The new outdoor play area has been unveiled at Bishop William Ward Primary School in Great Horkesley after it was awarded £10,000 of National Lottery funding.
Headteacher Toby Bull’s plans were to provide an accessible resource to improve physical and interpersonal skills for the school’s growing number of students.
From children at every level, the reaction has been positive with year six pupils saying it’s a new addition to the playground which brings them all together.
Mr Bull said: “The tyre park will not only develop our children's physical skills but encourage them to work collaboratively and creatively. It's also great fun.”
