A MAN has been accused of having trackers installed on the car of his former partner and her friend as part of a stalking campaign.

Anthony Webb, 43, of Holliland Croft, Great Tey, appeared at court charged with two counts of stalking, possession of a stun gun and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Webb is accused of stalking the woman between January 2 and April 25 by monitoring her day-to-day activities in a way which would cause her serious alarm or distress.

At Colchester Magistrates Court he was also accused of sending explicit pictures of her to others via a swingers' website and of placing a tracker on her car to monitor her movements.

Webb is also accused of arranging for pictures of her and her boss to be taken outside a hotel in Stansted and sent to her father.

Webb is also charged with stalking her friend between March 23 and June 28.

It is alleged he had a tracker installed on his car and had pictures taken of the man in Barnsley.

Webb allegedly arranged for someone to confront the man and he contacted the man's place of work to tell them about alleged sexual activity between the victims.

Webb also faces a charge of being caught with a Kelon 95 stun gun which was disguised as another item and attempting to pervert the course of justice on August 22 by trying to get the woman involved to drop the charges.

He entered no plea when he appeared at Colchester Court yesterday.

Webb was bailed to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on January 5 for a preliminary hearing.
