A LORRY has overturned at the Ardleigh Interchange.

The roundabout is blocked following the accident, which happened at about 9.50am this morning.
Sgt Colin Shead, from the road policing unit, tweeted: “Ipswich Rd/Ardleigh Crown,Colchester partly closed due to RTC involving HGV.”
UPDATE 3.20pm
The man driving the lorry, which was carrying decking, managed to climb out unhurt.
Paramedics were called to the scene and took the man to Colchester General Hospital for checks.
One lane of the road approaching the roundabout it closed but traffic is moving freely.
The cargo was transferred to another HGV.
UPDATE 3.30pm
Highways officers will close the road at 4pm to allow the lorry to be removed.
UPDATE 5.20pm
The road is now closed for the lorry to be removed, causing long delays rush hour delays.
UPDATE 6.10pm
The road has now reopened.
Still delays on the surrounding roads.
