Expansion could take place at a company which was recently subject to a takeover.
ABC Clearing, based at The Octagon in Middleborough, Colchester, was bought out by Russian investment bank Otkritie earlier this week.
It was part of a plan by the Russians to break into the international banking market using ABC Clearing as a way in.
Mike Manthorpe, managing director and chief executive, said management staff would be keeping their jobs and the company was even hoping to be able to expand.
He said: "These are exciting times because it enables Otkritie to break into the international market."
