An angry caravan owner has hit out at thieves for ruining his family holiday.
Donn Martyn, of High Street, Dovercourt, was due to enjoy the Easter break with his wife, Lesley, and son, Leam, before thieves struck.
His Bailey Senator Californian caravan, which is valued at £8,000, was taken from a field in Wix Road, Ramsey, where the vehicle is stored.
Mr Martyn said: "I'm livid this has ruined our family holiday - we were due to be going to Cromer for the Easter break, but obviously now we can't go.
"The owner of the field called me to ask if I'd gone on holiday already because the caravan wasn't there."
Mr Martyn, who runs Leam's Laces textiles and collectables shop in High Street, added he was disappointed because it was difficult to take children out of school during term time for a holiday, and his family would now not be able to go away this year.
The caravan is thought to have gone missing from the site on Monday night.
