The bells, they are a changin'...

A school in Coggeshall is hoping to teach the next generation the art of bell-ringing and, in particular, the English art of change ringing.

The Essex Bell Ringing Course will be held at Honywood School for the 17th time in succession.

It is one of only three national courses on bell-ringing in the UK, and organisers hope to attract new members this year.

Some 72 students and 80 helpers of all ages and backgrounds will be descending on the school between April 12 and 14 to learn theory, gain additional skills and take part in social activities.
