Most marathon runners would look forward to a rest after pounding the London streets for 26 miles.
But estate agent James Pudney is even more ambitious than that, as he will be attempting another major fitness feat just two months after the big run.
He will be swimming for a mile, biking for 26, and then running for six more at a triathlon in Windsor in June.
"I'm going to kill myself!" said the 31-year-old, of Frietuna Road, Frinton.
"It'll be a great achievement though.
"I've always been into fitness, but this is the first time I've attempted anything like this."
Mr Pudney, who manages Bairstow Eves in Clacton, will be undertaking both challenges in aid of WellChild, a charity which looks after sick youngsters.
