A woman's garden has been spoilt after an overflowing sewer spilled excrement across her lawn.
Paula Steward, of Barfield Road, Great Horkesley, woke at about 7.15am to find her garden full of the dirty water.
It is believed to have been caused by eight-inch medical wipes which had blocked the sewer.
An Anglian Water spokesman said: "We have had problems in this area before and were called to Blackbrook Road on Sunday night - we were there from 4.30pm to 11pm clearing up.
"Our engineers found the sewers were blocked by eight inch medical wipes, which someone had flushed down the toilet.
"We're asking our engineers to be proactive in reminding people the only things which should be flushed down the toilet are human waste and a little bit of toilet paper."
