Caroline Haynes is warning pupils at Tendring Technology College that they will be expelled if they are abusive or violent.
She said there is an increasing number of pupils at schools across Essex who are at prepared to be violent at school, but she is warning youngsters at the college, which has campuses in Rochford Way, Frinton, and Landermere Road, Thorpe, they will be excluded if they act in such a manner.
She said: "While I appreciate that there is little special school provision in Essex for pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, we are not prepared to tolerate or excuse acts of violence."
