RESIDENTS put their best foot forward to raise money for charity.
Walkers spent a sunny morning in Highwoods Country Park, Colchester, to raise vital money for Diabetes UK.
There are 3.2million people who have been diagnosed with diabetes in the UK and by 2025, it is estimated some 5 million people will have diabetes in the UK.
The charity supports those with the condition.
People were able to choose from walking one miles, two and a half miles, three miles or five and a half miles on the day.
Dog walkers also turned up to make the most of the event.
The walk, organised by the Colchester and East Essex Diabetes UK Group, was set up after the success of their inaugural walk in October.
