An animal rescue centre has re-opened, thanks to an anonymous benefactor.
Wildlives in Thorrington closed to public admissions in April, after owner Rosie Catford underwent an operation in her battle against cancer.
Ms Catford vowed not to return to the 18-hour days she had previously worked.
The centre's future was under threat because it needed £12,000-a-year for an animal care assistant.
Ms Catford has now revealed a sponsor, who has asked not to be named, has come up with the cash for the next 12 months.
Lianne Angliss starts work at the Frating Road site on March 12.
- Contact the centre on 01206 251174 to get involved in fundraising, or find an animal which needs help.
