Community groups have been invited to get involved with the final details of the Colchester community stadium.
A stakeholders group has been formed, with the first meeting being held tonight.
The shadow board, responsible for delivering the 10,000-seat community stadium at Cuckoo Farm in north Colchester, is finalising details to allow work to be started.
It has now formed the stakeholder group to be chaired by Tony Barton, the former commander of Colchester Garrison.
He has invited council representatives, councillors, health, youth groups, supporters and residents' associations to be represented on the group and contribute towards the final details.
