Mother and 9-month-old baby hit by car
A DRIVER hit a woman pushing a pushchair and then drove off without stopping.
The accident happened at 11.30am this morning in Ipswich Road, at the crossing near Dilbridge Road West.
Investigating officer Pc John Holmes said: “Fortunately, the mother and daughter only received minor injuries, but they were left very shaken up by this incident.”
An old shape white Nissan Micra coming from the direction of Cowdray Avenue hit the woman and the pushchair, but failed to stop.
Anyone who witnesses the accident should call Pc Holmes at Stanway RPU on 101.
