BUDDING fashion designers and models wowed the crowds with their unique creations at St Mary’s School Fashion Show 2015.
Among them there could be the next Mary Quant or Vivienne Westwood, or maybe a Naomi Campbell or Kate Moss.
What is certain is the fun they had after a lot of hard work.
Head of the fashion house at the Colchester school, Nicky Adams said: “It was fantastic.”
Girls from Year 8 were tasked with designing pyjama bottoms with about 50, split into groups, taking up the challenge.
For Year 9, it was a kimono or fur gilet, with the students selecting their own fabrics.
Year 10 and Year 11 were given the option of designing a costume for the West End stage, or something inspired by the punk era for an 18 to 23-year-old, or a garment inspired by another culture.
