A MAN has been airlifted to hospital following a crash involving a car, a tractor and a trailer.
The man, who is in his 60s, was flown to Addenbrookes Hospital in a serious condition.
The emergency services were called to the accident, in Wick Lane, Ardleigh, at about 8.15am today.
The air ambulance crew also attended the scene to treat the man, but could not use the helicopter due to weather conditions.
The RAF search and rescue helicopter airlifted the man to hospital at about 10.15am.
Firefighters were also at the scene to cut the roof off the car to free him.
